Philanthropy

One of the Seven Core Values of Lambda Chi Alpha’s leadership model is Service and Stewardship. Our goal is to exemplify this value through our actions in an effort to better our community while having some fun at the same time.

Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity created a formal partnership with Feeding America in the summer of 2013. The mission of Feeding America is to fight to end hunger, and our mission is to instill values in young men. Since our partnership has begun we have provided over 15 million meals as a national organization to hungry families through Feeding America. This has become a wonderful opportunity for our men to live our values and make a lasting impact within their community.

Watermelon Bash

Watermelon Bash is our chapter’s philanthropy event occurring every spring. It consists of multiple watermelon-themed games like watermelon bowling and other team-based competitions. Proceeds go towards the South Plains Food Bank which provides food resources to the Lubbock community.
